For the first time in the history of the Legend of Zelda series, we will be having DLC. The game already is shaping up to be a gargantuan adventure, so the idea of having DLC with even more content is enticing. The Expansion Pass will be available for purchase on March 3 on the same day as the game’s release for $19.99. The pass will consist of two sets of content. The first content pack, slated for a summer release, will include a Cave of Trials challenge, a new hard mode and an exciting new feature for the in-game map. The second content pack, slated for a Holiday 2017 release, will include a new dungeon and a new original story. To top it off, whenever you purchase the pass, you will have access to three new treasure chests in the game’s Great Plateau area: two will contain useful items and the third will have a shirt with the Nintendo Switch logo for Link to wear. The Expansion Pass will be available on both the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch. Keep in mind that the content packs can’t be purchased separate, and will only be available via this pass. “The world of Hyrule, which we created for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, is so large and vibrant that we wanted to offer more for players to experience within it. With this new Expansion Pass, we hope that fans will play, explore and enjoy the game even more,” said Nintendo developer Eiji Aonuma, the longtime producer of the series. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be available on both the Nintendo Switch and Wii U on March 3. - Teepu Official Site: http://www.zelda.com/breath-of-the-wild/ Eiji Aonuma on the Expansion Pass: http://zelda.com/breath-of-the-wild/news/special-announcement-from-eiji-aonuma/ |
