Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC Adventure Academia: The Fractured Continent is the latest title in the long-running Class of Heroes series, and it released in December of last year on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC by way of PQube Entertainment. While the Class of Heroes series is mainly a dungeon crawling JRPG series, Adventure Academia changes things up by moving into the SRPG genre. Nothing is ever that simple though, and it's an SRPG game with quite a few real-time elements to shake things up a bit. Seeing as we're nearing the its first anniversary, we decided that now is a good time to dive into the game and see if it's worth going back to school for, or if you're better off dropping out early. Square Enix today revealed brand-new information about Dawntrail, the fifth and latest expansion pack for its critically acclaimed MMO Final Fantasy XIV Online, set to launch in Summer 2024.

Platforms: Nintendo Switch Soviet Project is a survival horror adventure game that saw a release on Steam previously under the title Bug Dolls: Soviet Project. We'll cover that Bug Doll thing later on in the review, but it's now available on the Nintendo Switch as well. It's a bit of an odd take on the genre as it's far more open-ended than one would expect in the genre. One might even call it an open-world game if its world was not relatively small. We're getting ahead of ourselves though, so let's back up and see what these bug dolls are all about and unravel the mystery behind the Soviet Project! At The Indie Horror Showcase, Southeast Asian publisher Neon Doctrine and developer GameChanger Studio released a new trailer for macabre creature collector and empire management sim My Lovely Empress that offers a taste of the power that the deliciously demonic Yaoguai can bestow. Details, and the newly released trailer, can be found below!

Platforms: Nintendo Switch Today we're going to look at Hentai Tales Vol. 1: Hitomi and Strange Forest. It's another one of "those" games that you see all over the Switch eShop. We previously looked at Hentai Project not too long ago (You can find that review HERE.) and we were curious what this game had to offer since it implied a different gameplay style, and is apparently the first in a new series. We're going to see if this is a game you're going to want to pick up, or one you'll want to skip at all costs. Where do you think we're going to steer you? Read on to find out! Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PC DUSK is a Survival Horror FPS game by Publisher New Blood Interactive. Specifically, DUSK is a modern FPS game that was inspired by the classic FPS games like Doom, Half-Life, Quake, and Wolfenstein. The story takes place in the fictional rural town of Dusk, Pennsylvania, were the locals have discovered some Lovecraftian ruins that turn those nearby into a demonically possessed being. Since that initial incident the government sealed the town hoping to stop the spread of the evil that they had unleashed upon themselves. You play as the "Dusk Dude", or "The Intruder", who has recently arrived after hearing that there is treasure within. As you make your way to the town you are caught by the locals and placed near a farm, set to be a sacrifice. As The Intruder you make your way through farmland, factories, the underground, government bases, and the town itself. By Manuel Players: 1
Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC Are you a fan of gacha games but aren't a fan of the predatory microtransactions they often contain? Well, Super Bullet Break takes that gacha gameplay, adds in a deckbuilding RPG with roguelike elements, and takes microtransactions out of the equation entirely. Developed by BeXide Inc., and published by PQube, this game released at the tail end of 2022 on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC and we're going to take a look at it today. We're no stranger to deckbuilding RPGs, but the idea of one that so openly displays its gacha and anime inspirations so heavily is quite intriguing. So, without further ado, let's dive in and hope we get all those legendary pulls! By Al Players: 1
Platforms: Nintendo Switch Dementium: The Ward is a first-person horror game that originally released on the Nintendo DS in 2007. It got an updated release late in the 3DS' life in 2015, and is now available on the Nintendo Switch, complete with several quality of life upgrades. While it's not the best-known title from the DS catalog, it was a rare M-rated horror title that still surprises gamers who discover it today. The question is whether this release is worth the wait, if the improvements are enough to justify the re-release, and how it stands up in the modern gaming scene. Hopefully we'll address all those questions, and several others, in our review! By Manuel Players: 1
Platforms: Nintendo Switch, XBox, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC Knight vs. Giant: The Broken Excalibur is a roguelite game set in the mythical world of the Arthurian legends. It's out now on consoles and PC by way of Gambir Game Studio and PQube. I'm not really the biggest player of the roguelite genre, but I do love the Arthurian mythos and Action RPGs. Roguelites aren't exactly ARPGs, but it's a close enough fit that I had to see if there's something to this genre that seems to get dozens of titles coming out in a seemingly endless wave. Well, with that in mind, does Knight vs. Giant have what it takes to stand above the crowd? Let's dive into The Void and find out!
