Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBox, Nintendo Switch, PC Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2 (Referred to as "Hero School Story 2" for brevity's sake from here on.) is the latest title from Indonesian developer Agate Games and is the sequel to 2018's Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story and the fourth game overall in the series that saw its origins in Flash-based games. It's a school management sim, with RPG elements, that first released on Steam Early Access last year and is now getting a final release on consoles. Well, read on to find out! By Manuel Players: 1
Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBox, Nintendo Switch, PC Skautfold: Usurper is a horror-themed Metroidvania game that originally launched on Steam back in 2018. It's the second game of the five-game Skautfold series that are tied together by story, settings, and characters, but are all in different genres. Knowledge of the first game is not required, and that's a good thing as it's just now arriving on consoles and arguably is more aesthetically pleasing than the previous title in the series, Skautfold: Shrouded in Sanity, which released earlier this year. Can you face the horrors of the game has to offer, and do you actually want to? Well, let's dive into the game and find out! Indie game publisher Leoful and Romanian indie developer Dream Builder Studios recently revealed details regarding old-school space simulation, Stellar Wanderer DX, which is set to launch 2024 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One worldwide. Details for the game, its first trailer, and more can be found below!
Can A PS5 Port For A 2019 JRPG Be Worth The Price of Admission? A Ys IX: Monstrous Nox Review6/16/2023 By: Janette Players: 1
Platforms: PlayStation 5 Ys IX: Monstrous Nox has actually been out since 2019. This one isn’t particularly new. But the PlayStation 5 release is, hence this review. If you like anime action JRPGs, a bit of over the top edge lord silliness, and haven’t already bought Ys IX previously, this might be up your alley. But if that particular mix isn’t already something you’re into, it’s hard to say this is the one to change your mind, especially this version. By Manuel Players: 1
Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBox, Nintendo Switch, PC Have a farming itch that the usual round of Story of Seasons, Stardew Valley, or Harvest Moon can't quite scratch? Well, perhaps Alchemic Cutie is for you. Previously released for the XBox and PC, it's now arrived on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch. Despite what I just said though, it's not quite the same type of game that it arguably resembles the most. With that in mind, it is a farm-based simulation though, so let's try to pinpoint what kind of game Alchemic Cutie is, if it's something you're going to want to dive into, and if it is even able to run on the new consoles it's coming to... Read on and get ready to harvest Jelly poop! SNK Corporation recently announced the rollout of cross-platform functionality and the arrival of free DLC character Goenitz in The King of Fighters XV (KOF XV), set to arrive on 20th June, 2023!

Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBox, Nintendo Switch, PC I have played some real treats before, including many games of rogue-lite design, but the best way to sum up Death or Treat is dying a thousand deaths. You grind for a fraction of a minute, you die, you grind for another few minutes, you die, and then the minutes repeat themselves. Each death is supposed to be a learning experience, as well as progression, but every bit of the grind keeps chipping away at your sanity rather than allowing you to achieve any tangible growth. There are some good elements to Death or Treat, but at its core it's a boring and grindy game. There are plenty of rogue-lite games that have depth and hold their own, but this isn’t one of those games. What do I dislike about Death or Treat? What did I wind up liking about it? Is it even worth the current purchase price? Let’s find out! Fans of the Trails series have had a lot to celebrate recently as NIS has been catching up on all the titles that never made it to Western shores. The latest of these, Trails Into Reverie, is set to release very soon and we have a new Gameplay Trailer to check out what we have in store for the game that brings together the previously released games!
