 We have a treat for everyone today! We've been hearing a lot of Zombie recently and we were lucky enough to interview them! They are a really cool group that have been catching a lot of attention on the internet recently and we hope to spread a bit of the Zombie infection further! We discussed everything from their formation and style to their thoughts on horror so be sure to check it out!
Zombie (ぞんび, also referred to as "Zonbi") is a visual kei band that formed in 2013 formed by bassist Aoi Midori and guitarist Sho from the band "VOICE" their current lineup solidified in 2015. Following the release of several singles they released their first album, "Bokura wa Minna Shindeiru" early last year. This album would be followed by their most recent single "Daikkirai Tokyo/Kamisama Gomennasai". Both of the songs feature MVs which can be found below.  VERY BERRY has been on A-to-J's radar for a while now and we recently got a chance to interview them! Mixing a straightforward rock sound with visual kei trappings, the quartet have been putting out some amazing work over the last few years and we were glad to discuss topics like their formation, inspirations, and their future! VERY BERRY is a project that started in August 2013 by guitarist Nao (of the band heidi.) and vocalist Baku (of Hana Shounen Baddies). Together they formed a group that not only aims to make you feel "touched emotionally", but also all hail from Tochigi Prefecture. Together the group has released one full length album, titled "QUARTET", and two mini albums; the most recent of these being "ache" which was released in August of 2017.  Fans of Elegant Gothic Lolita fashion and visual kei are in for a treat! Seattle, WA's Sakura-Con will feature an appearance by both Elegant Gothic Lolita & Elegant Gothic Aristocrat brand Moi-meme-Moitie and by the brand's producer, Mana! This marks the a return appearance by Mana who was also present at the 2012 show with his band Moi dix Mois.
 FAKE STAR, USA is partnering with TUNE IN TOKYO to bring visual kei and drag artist Kaya to the US for a special show at RAGE in West Hollywood on Friday, February 2nd as part of the club's GAMeBoi events!

 A-to-J Connections recently had the opportunity to interview SANA who is currently on his biggest tour, and one of the biggest in general, with over seventy dates lasting well into 2018. We discussed his history, his past overseas appearances, and some of his future plans. Check it out!
SANA began his career as the guitarist for the visual kei band MASK. In 2006 MASK would go on hiatus and SANA's career as a solo artist began. In 2010 SANA became the guitarist of the band Kαin and in 2012 he began the project "Seiyuu Meets Visual Kei" with renowned voice actors Kazuki Yao and Hiroaki Takahashi. No stranger to overseas performances SANA has performed across Japan, Russia, Ukraine, Western Europe, the USA, and elsewhere. Besides music SANA has also tried his hand at modeling and modeled for Kera in 2013, Tritt fur Tritt in 2014, and most recently Baby, The Stars Shine Bright in Berlin, Germany in 2016. 2017 saw SANA in the United States at Saboten Con in Phoenix, AZ as well as his most recent tour “Beyond The Limits 2017-2018 –East EU leg- tour" which will last until April, 2018.  In remembrance of hide, guitarist of legendary Japanese rock band, X Japan, a concert has been announced to take place over two days to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his passing.
 Japan is powering up for the next generation of Visual Kei! The future's looking bright for the Visual Kei scene in Japan as Kiryu, BugLug, R-Shitei, and vistlip’s coupling tour is confirmed!
 Just a couple days after releasing the short version, LUNA SEA has dropped the full-length MV for their new song "Hold You Down", their latest song that comes from the upcoming album "LUV". This MV will only be available for a very short 24 hours and can be found HERE.
 Visual kei band VERY BERRY have released almost their entire discography on YouTube. Songs are available from their albums “ache”, “QUARTET”, and “QUARTET M”.
