Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) has a long history of bringing some amazing Japanese music guests to its events, some of which we've had a chance to interview, and they recently announced that Visual Kei band JILUKA will be making their US debut at this year's event.
Japanese Alternative/Visual Kei group XANVALA recently released their latest digital single, “Ashita, mushi ni natte mo”, on July 26. It promises to be one of their heaviest songs so far and you can read about it, and listen to it of course, below!
Chilli Beans., a three-piece Japanese band featuring members Moto (vocals), Maika (bass & vocals), and Lily (guitar & vocals), recently announced that they will release their fourth EP "for you" on August 9. One of the songs included on the EP, "Raise", will be as the ending theme song for the anime One Piece. Details on the release and more can be found below.
Japanese rock band I Don't Like Mondays. have just completed a spectacular performance at BUBBLEPOP in Barcelona, Spain, the first edition of a new festival focused on introducing art and music from Asia. Performing in front of 3,000 excited fans on the second day of the festival, the band played 10 songs in their one-hour set, including their ONE PIECE anime theme song "PAINT".
