Japanese rock artist AKIRA will be at Saboten Con 2018! She will be holding a live concert as well as participating in a panel and autograph sessions. AKIRA will also be a guest model at Saboten Con’s Japanese fashion show as well as participating in the tea party. Saboten Con will be held Aug. 31 - Sep. 3, 2018 in Phoenix, AZ at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix.

On January 31st, 2018 Swedish Visual Kei artist Yohio and his record label/management company Keios Entertainment had their debut in Japan with the release of “Keios Japan”. Along with this debut CEO Yohio signed Visual Kei band “TRNTY D:CODE” (pictured above) to the newly formed label and released an MV for their recently released song “Gravity”. They are a really cool group that have been catching a lot of attention on the internet recently and we hope to spread a bit of the Zombie infection further! Zombie (ぞんび, also referred to as "Zonbi") is a visual kei band that formed in 2013 formed by bassist Aoi Midori and guitarist Sho from the band "VOICE" their current lineup solidified in 2015. Following the release of several singles they released their first album, "Bokura wa Minna Shindeiru" early last year. This album would be followed by their most recent single "Daikkirai Tokyo/Kamisama Gomennasai". Both of the songs feature MVs which can be found below. VERY BERRY has been on A-to-J's radar for a while now and we recently got a chance to interview them! Mixing a straightforward rock sound with visual kei trappings, the quartet have been putting out some amazing work over the last few years and we were glad to discuss topics like their formation, inspirations, and their future! VERY BERRY is a project that started in August 2013 by guitarist Nao (of the band heidi.) and vocalist Baku (of Hana Shounen Baddies). Together they formed a group that not only aims to make you feel "touched emotionally", but also all hail from Tochigi Prefecture. Together the group has released one full length album, titled "QUARTET", and two mini albums; the most recent of these being "ache" which was released in August of 2017. |
