A-to-J has been watching the momentum Avanchick has gained within the past year. They hit a key milestone recently by releasing their first album titled “Ashita Moshi Sekai ga Owattemo” and now are planned to have their overseas debut performing at Tokyo in Tulsa this July! Unfortunately good news is tempered by bad and not long after this announcement a second came that mentioned that they would be breaking up in the Fall. That end is still a while off and, in an effort to continue to support Avanchick, we took the time to talk with vocalist NOAH about the band, the new album, their overseas live debut, their biggest accomplishments in 2016, and more!
Formed in 2014, RAINDIA have put out several releases of alternative metal music. Late 2016 saw the creation of their official YouTube channel, where the band gave previews of their live performances along with their first single, Trash Juice. With this release, the band demonstrated a shift from their usual heavy tunes to an implementation of softer and more upbeat musical elements.
One of Japan's most beloved Visual kei band Meteoroid disbanded and will be forming a new band named GreeΣ pronounced GreeM. The announcement was made on February 11th, 2017. MeteoroiD, being a veteran band, shocked the world with the news and will always be in everyone's heart. I personally feel that too many bands have been breaking up lately and its getting to a point to where anything can happen to lots of bands we all love. I do worry for the future of the industry at times but I do believe in the members of every band and trust their judgment. They do have normal lives outside of music of course. Below will be a press release from our good friend Haley Marinovich who both published and translated the press release: GreeΣ (GreeM)
