Japanese rock band VAMPS, which is lead by world-renowned vocalist Hyde (Who is also the vocalist the band L’Arc~en~Ciel), recently declared they would be going on a temporary hiatus. Fans all over the globe are worried about the future of the band and the possibility of future activities.
Visual kei guitarist Lin will release a solo instrumental compilation of 3 songs, produced for the Chinese animation of “King of Fighters -Destiny-”. The compilation is titled "Music for KOF -Quanhuang Mingyun-" and will be released internationally on December 20, 2017.

RuPaul’s DragCon 2018 recently announced superstar Kaya recently as a guest!!! This is an exciting moment for all Japanese pop culture fans and an even more exciting moment for all fans of visual kei! DragCon is a two year old con here in the heart of Los Angeles making its home within the halls of the LA Convention Center. It allows all LGBTQ+ and allies a safe, fun, and exciting place to express their love for the art of drag. Many drag queens and other artists come from around the world to join the weekend’s fun, including many RuPaul queens themselves flying in as guests.

Everyone at Tokyo in Tulsa wants fans to interact and truly immerse themselves in this experience. CindyKate’s drummer Sami passed away in an unexpected accident on July 18th. Bandmate Yuui tweeted: “Ex. Sami Kun's drummer Sami-kun died in an unexpected accident. To remember is only his breaking way of life and smiles. When I was playing the band I thought that if I thought that the light of life could be seen, I think that I could live only 4 more years. I said goodbye to you the other day. Until the day we meet again.”
