Arlequin recently announced their next max single which will see release in two versions! One type will be named "KARMA" (KARUMA) and the other will be "REVENGE"(Fukushuu). Both versions will be released on 11/16/2016. Before the release of the MAXI SINGLE a ONEMAN TOUR at TOKYO ZEPP DIVERCITY on 10/23/2016 will take place for their three year anniversary!
I remember when I was working at XENON and Arlequinn had a interview there the vocalist AKI said something that stuck with me: "The decisions you make do not only affect you, but everyone with you at that time. It is to be courteous of others' situations that will help everyone grow instead of being selfish". With a strong minded vocalist like him no wonder the band has come so far! Released recently on August 31st of this year, the song is already available for download on iTunes and Apple Music or stream it via Spotify. The second single, “Rise or Die”, features German musician Richard Z. Kruspe. Having been around since the early eighties, they were the pioneers for a beloved genre now known as ‘visual kei,’ alongside other bands such as BUCK-TICK and LUNA SEA. Several decades later, the band is still very much relevant, selling out massive venues worldwide. Now, the rock juggernaut even has a documentary regarding the course of their career, premiering all over the world. The film, entitled We Are X, is slated to begin showing in Los Angeles on October 21. As shown in the trailer, the film features YOSHIKI’s depiction of the band’s pride and hardships, including the loss of former member Hideto Matsumoto. Several other musicians give their testimonial of X Japan, including Marilyn Manson and Gene Simmons from KISS. "We Are X" Trailer The premier night will even feature a guest appearance and Q&A with YOSHIKI at the Nuart Theater, alongside director Stephen Kijak. The talk sessions will last from the 21st to the 23rd, with the final screening being on the 27th, though YOSHIKI will only be there on the first night. Advanced tickets are available, though don’t expect the availability to last long - get yours before the event sells out!
