Kaya to Appear at RuPaul's DragCon In 2018

RuPaul’s DragCon 2018 recently announced superstar Kaya recently as a guest!!! This is an exciting moment for all Japanese pop culture fans and an even more exciting moment for all fans of visual kei! DragCon is a two year old con here in the heart of Los Angeles making its home within the halls of the LA Convention Center. It allows all LGBTQ+ and allies a safe, fun, and exciting place to express their love for the art of drag. Many drag queens and other artists come from around the world to join the weekend’s fun, including many RuPaul queens themselves flying in as guests.

We are excited to see the event expand into the hearts and minds of many new attendees that are sure to join the con this upcoming year! We can’t wait to see what new opportunities this will bring Kaya, considering this is something relatively new. Kaya was previously seen here in California at PMX 2015, an anime and Japanese media convention held in Pasadena, CA where Kaya performed with Femme Fatale, a band that sadly disbanded on January 15, 2016. It will be amazing to see both the drag and visual kei world collide this upcoming May.
