VAMPS Announce North American Tour with Special Guest Citizen Zero

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 21, 2016) - The Japanese rock band VAMPS, starring music veterans Hyde (L’Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z. (Oblivion Dust), will be back to North America in November of this year! The decision to headline their own tour comes after sold-out shows in Tokyo earlier this year and on the back of two new singles.
 
The first, “Inside of Me”, was produced by Howard Benson (Grammy nominee) and features Chris Motionless from the American metal band Montionless in White. Released recently on August 31st of this year, the song is already available for download on iTunes and Apple Music or stream it via Spotify. The second single, “Rise or Die”, features German musician Richard Z. Kruspe. These two record singles are the ideal kick-start to the full length album that is currently in the works and will drum up anticipation for VAMP’s upcoming fall tour and potentially more shows next spring.

Formed back in 2008, this Japanese rock duo consists of Hyde from L’Arc~en~Ciel (vocalist, rhythm guitarist, lyricist and songwriter for the band) and K.A.Z. (lead guitarist, backing vocalist and songwriter). Their unique perspective as “vampires” takes fans into the immoral and wild side of the rock music scene. Originally signed to Hyde’s record label Vamprose, they changed labels to Universal Music Group’s Delicious Deli Records in 2013 to make their worldwide debut. The band has released four full-length albums since their conception, “Vamps” (2009), “Beast” (2010), “Sex Blood Rock ‘n Roll” (2013) and “Bloodsuckers” (2014).
