Visual kei band SuG recently released their latest music video ‘AGAKU,’ promoting their new EP of the same name. The EP drops on the fifth of July, with all types of the release containing four brand-new tracks. The titular song’s video features front-man Takeru’s distinctive fashion sense, a catchy rap sequence, and an impressive slap-bass riff from bassist Chiyu. The official website describes the tune as being ‘something along the likes of hip hop and EDM, along with various other genres. SuG - AGAKU MV AGAKU comes in three editions - regular, limited, and one only available through the official SuG shop. A month-long tour starts the day of the release, kicking off in Tokyo and ending in Hiroshima.
AGAKU, which translates to ‘struggle,’ symbolizes just that - SuG and fans’ combined effort to push the band forward. Their efforts haven’t gone unnoticed! Fans will finally have the chance to attend a SuG concert in the Nippon Budokan on the ninth of August, a huge checkpoint for both Japanese and foreign bands. It will be the band’s first time performing in the legendary venue, following after other popular bands such as the GazettE, DIR EN GREY, and WagakkiBand. -Dia |
