New Visual Rock Band SPLENDID GOD GIRAFFE Hosts First Concert as Worldwide Livestream

New Visual Rock bands are always a joy to report on and here's your chance to join the newly formed SPLENDID GOD GIRAFFE (made up of ex-LEZARD members) from the very beginning!

SPLENDID GOD GIRAFFE (SGG) recently announced their first, or “0th”, livestream concert, kicking off the official start of their activities. The livestream concert will be available for viewing worldwide on Friday, April 29th at 8:00 PM JST, hosted on the Zaiko platform.

The three members of the band were formerly part of LEZARD. Formerly known as the drummer of LEZARD, natsume announced his name change to shuto and new position as vocalist of SGG. Guitarist Kosuke and bassist TACC complete the lineup. 

With the live streaming concert being the first performance of the band’s career, SGG has prepared a setlist of 6 songs for their debut. Viewers can purchase the tickets starting at 3000 JPY from the Zaiko streaming platform, with optional upgrades for higher sound quality. 

Immediately following the live stream concert, at 10:00 PM JST, SGG will release their first ever music video, titled “EVE”, on their YouTube channel. Viewers can watch the premiere HERE.

​Hours later at midnight, the track for “EVE” will be released on music streaming platforms worldwide. Listeners can find the track on streaming platforms as of April 30th in their local region.

“With LEZARD’s disbandment, and the age of the COVID pandemic, it’s a world where not just creating and performing music, but everything itself has changed. We created this band SPLENDID GOD GIRAFFE with the sole purpose of changing things again.

Through our music, we want to be a source of some hope. We chose to have our first performance through live streaming, so that we could send out our music not only domestically but throughout the world. Even if it’s just a little bit, we want everyone in the world to see, and feel, our first ever live performance.
