The video is a musical/vocal duet between guitarist MIYAVI and Afghan phenom rapper, Sonita, who has drawn wide critical acclaim for her vocals, fortitude as a Muslim woman in hip hop and also her work as a social activist bringing wider attention to the plight of Afghan families selling their daughters into marriage. You can check out the new MV below! The release of “Long Nights” comes as MIYAVI embarks on an international tour. It was hailed as the best and most popular documentary in the World Cinema category at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, where it won both the Grand Jury prize and the Audience Award.
