December 22, 2020 6:00 PM PST Hosts: Manuel Nyaru Badman Haro Description: Ultra Podcast Z is wrapping up the year with some episodes looking at 2020 and some stories that we either missed or that we felt like looking back on with more time to reflect on them. This week was supposed to be the final UPZ of the year but we're planning an Episode 122 (which will be a 2021 Predictions episode) but we wrapped up our trilogy of sorts with 2020 In Review. This one was a bit more random than the other two and while we would ultimately be joined by both Badman and Haro, we spent about three quarters of the show as a trio. We ended up talking about randomness and the first topics for far longer than we thought we would and we almost didn't cover all the stories we intended to, BUT we had the longest, slowest outro ever and managed to actually cover all our topics in one way or another. We were all over the place, but without touching on some touchier subjects of 2020, we definitely covered a lot of big stories here and we had a lot of fun and randomness throughout. It's Christmas though so hopefully this entertains in what is one of the weirdest holiday seasons we've ever had. March 31, 2020 6:00 PM PDT Hosts: Manuel Konaru melancholiaah Description: Ultra Podcast Z (and most of the rest of the country) is still in quarantine (and will be for the foreseeable future) and we decided to throw together another random episode as we have been mad obsessed with Animal Crossing: New Horizons as well as generally trying to stay sane when all semblance of a schedule falls away. Joining us for this week's randomness is melancholiaah! (AKA Maxine) She's been away from our show since the Halloween specials, but we wanted to sit down with her and discuss how we're all surviving this current health crisis and there was a lot to go over. As you'd imagine there was a lot of Animal Crossing to discuss and we even streamed a bit of Konaru's island and had it open to anyone who wanted to stop by. (Something we may continue in future episodes) In between ACNH talks though, Max shared all the things that she was forced to cancel due to the current situation as well as to why there aren't any new Toad Sings videos in the pipeline. We discussed a few movies and series that we're watching/have watched, including "Tiger King" and "The Flu" and more. We touched a bit on furries towards the end and there was more all throughout that has to just be listened to understand! March 24, 2020 7:00 PM PDT Hosts: Manuel Konaru Molly Racheal Description: Ultra Podcast Z (and most of the rest of the country) is currently in quarantine and we're trying our best to survive not only the health crisis, but also the monotony that life at home can lead to. Thankfully we have Animal Crossing: New Horizons and more to occupy us! We originally were going to discuss ways to get through the quarantine by keeping yourself occupied with many free/reduced resources and sources of entertainment, but we QUICKLY found ourselves derailed into mostly randomness and storytime. It's also worth noting that this is TECHNICALLY our 100th Episode as we often have "half" episodes that fill up the numbering. Anyhow, we also had Konaru's ACNH island live during the podcast and it was visited by a few of our viewers and we might do that again so be sure to tune in for that! Besides Animal Crossing though, we also hit upon weird topics like our nerdy tendencies and "what kind" of nerd we are. The storytime got weirder as we also hit upon some of Molly's childhood trauma regarding weird dreams and some locker room stories from Middle and High School, a truly random episode. March 17, 2020 7:00 PM PDT Hosts: Manuel Konaru Callie Description: Ultra Podcast Z loves Animal Crossing and with the release of "New Horizons"... on the horizon, we decided to have a special episode dedicated to just that! We had a funny intro where we went a little too far into anti-Chris Hansen/TCAP nonsense but after some storytime we took a deep dive into the topic and had a great time with it! Besides talking about the games rather in depth, with a special focus on AC New Leaf, we also did a live reaction to Callie's Isabelle cosplay video (a cosplay she wore on the show) and looked at some Animal Crossing memes! Callie was a little under the weather, as was Manuel, so we're a little off at points here but we held it together for over two hours and came to the conclusion that no one really played Animal Crossing City Folk for the Wii and that Isabelle might not actually be a bell. January 28, 2020 7:00 PM PST Hosts: Manuel Konaru Callie Description: Ultra Podcast Z is back and so is Konaru! She's back from Japan only missing the first episode of the year! Also returning is Callie who was on quite a few times in the past as well! This one had a lot of randomness all around and started with us talking about Sakamichi and AKS nonsense, the Tokyo Love Story remake and streaming services in Japan, and the big topic of the night, New and Upcoming Anime & Gaming releases for 2020! We covered a lot of titles in both categories but had a lot of fun talking about the Oshi to Budokan anime, "22/7 (Nanabun no Nijyuuni)", Interspecies Reviewers, Beastars, and LOTS more! Gaming was mostly dominated by talk of Animal Crossing: New Horizons but we also talked about titles like the Final Fantasy VII Remake, Breath of The Wild 2, and more! Lots to discuss and this was one of our most fun episodes in recent memory so be sure to check it out! April 12, 2019 8:00 PM PDT Hosts: Manuel melancholiaah Zac Description: Ultra Podcast Z had an... odd Episode 60 so we basically redid our main topic (which we never actually covered in Ep. 60) here! That topic of course being Japanese Concert Etiquette, or as we liked saying "Etiqueete". We spend the better part of two hours covering that entire topic and we also had a lot of fun with other topics like Gackt's hilarious tweets and some of our favorite Animal Crossing villagers as well as a draw-off to see if Manuel or melancholiaah could draw the better Lopez! We also celebrated her birthday a bit early as you can tell by her video box! We also featured Zac on the podcast for the first time and he's a host we hope to see return in the future!
