Here's the sixty-first episode of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and we came back after our longest break yet! We haven't taken a break as long as this on any show so it was kind of a stress to come back to. It's been almost three months so we didn't want to push anything back any further but at a somewhat last minute choice we lost Molly as a co-host and didn't bother to find a replacement for this week. That said Molly DOES show up at the end and we managed to keep this show very tight and fun nonetheless. Presentation-wise we had a YouTube Favs thing from Manuel, a "Pop" Iceberg from Warren (Warning on some of the content there btw), and Pleiades did a "In Case You Missed It" thing where he covered some big recent news stories that he wanted to discuss. Good times all around and we had a lot of fun bringing back DTL! That said, we also announced that Drink Talk Learn will be running its course very soon and we will officially retire DTL as a regular show (though we might still do random fun episodes) on Episode 69, whenever that is just because we're stupid and think it'll be a funny place to stop. So be sure to keep watching DTL with us until the very end and also look forward to us trying our best to bring back past hosts onto the show! Here's the twenty-eigth episode of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and this is probably the first of our "Lost Episodes". This one has an interesting story as at the time we had been hit HARD with copyright claims from our older episodes of "A-to-J Talks" and the early (first 40) episodes of "Ultra Podcast Z". This issue, which still plagues us today as these old episodes are mostly lost even to this day, caused us to be a lot more careful about using music during our Drink Talk Learn streams (this was before Twitch would start all its nonsense regarding licensed music too) so this episode was always pegged as one that we'd put into the vault until some time later. LATER IS NOW! It's another Christmas season, Drink Talk Learn is on an early hiatus (lots of nonsense brought about that, but that's another story) and we decided now is a good time to release this as we don't have a holiday one this year. This is definitely a time capsule of sorts for us as the show has gone through a LOT of changes since this first year, and there are another 30 episodes from this one, but it's fun and crazy how many presentations were lost here. Namely Manuel's "Outlaws of The Marsh" presentation (which has been referred to in later DTLs) and Callie's first attempt at VTuber Timer-chan (which she completely redid in two separate DTLs later). Elsewhere Warren talked about his favorite XMas music (which honestly is why this episode took so long to come out!) and Pleiades gave some YouTube recs. Not the most seasonally specific topics but we were having fun! Check it out and wait for the DTL return in January! Here's the thirty-fifth episode of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and we had a full roster of six for this one, a rarity in recent DTL streams and an interesting juxtaposition to our just four presentations the week before. Molly is back in this one and we had Hao, a friend of Pleiades, join us as well in all this nonsense. Hao talked Animorphs which was a topic that everyone enjoyed, and Manuel talked something that wasn't Chinese, a lot of randomness all over the place with more fav YouTube channels and mobile games, progressive D&D gameplay (as in ways to spice things up) and a look into what "gar" is. Pleiades also put in the rarest thing of all in a DTL, a presentation from him that was under twenty minutes. The breaks in between were quite variable though and could either drag on with nonsense regarding horses, or they could last only a couple minutes. We let this run quite long though which is somewhat unusual to recent streams as we extremely rarely go above the five hour mark. Lots of karaoke nonsense was cut out from this YouTube version unfortunately but there's still a lot of fun stuff here with Molly's fav YouTube channels, DarkWest's fav 4-player arcade games (with LOTS of memories from all of us!), a look at the Fatal Fury anime movie, and a full telling on the history of A-to-J's "Cult of Reggie" and a look at Mr. Krabs high on ketamine! Some crazy stuff all around if we do say so ourselves! We only have two more DTLs before we take a break for the end/start of the year so be sure to keep watching for all the antics that are sure to take place in coming weeks. Also, hopefully Callie comes back fully and hosts the next episode as well, beyond some random voice-only bits here, she was all but absent.
