Here's the sixty-fourth episode of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and we're in the home stretch of our last run! This week saw Hinacchi return as she was one of the very first guests on DTL almost two years ago on our third episode. Sadly Warren somehow forgot he had a wedding to attend on this day so he was only present during the first hour before leaving. His presentation was part about his wedding and part about a webtoon called "Sexcercise" so he still tossed his lot into things! We kind of kept this one moving a bit more tight, perhaps due to Warren's absence, and Manuel closed out his presentations on the Four Classic Chinese Novels with a presentation on "Dream of The Red Chamber", Hina talked about one of her favorite games "Pump It Up" (which you can see her stream on her own twitch channel on occasion), and Pleiades talked about Code Geass which is pretty funny since that's been a topic that's been coming up a lot on recent A-to-J streams. Guess we all have to watch it one day! It was a lot of fun even though this is almost definitely the last time this particular gathering of people will ever be on DTL so watch and enjoy! Also, we all got a little more drunk than usual this time around (except for Hina who drank cider this time) so there's that if you care for that kinda thing! Anyway, as a reminder DTL is ending on Episode 69 and we plan to have a lot of our old friends return one last time so be sure to keep watching! Here's the sixtieth episode of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and it was just in time for Halloween! The season kind of snuck up on us this year and we didn't properly prepare stream-wise as we have in previous years but we DID make sure that this episode was 100% spoopy topics! Warren talked about "Hmong-sters" and Hmong/SEA cryptids, a lot of which apparently have backwards feet btw, and Molly talked about the horror of prions and prion-related diseases. There was a lot of randomness here but we kept it pretty tight throughout with only a few presentations running a little long and we also covered Halloween III and Gorefield to round out the show! There wasn't a lot of spookiness in terms of presentation, but Manuel's camera quality was quite a scare, as was Leslie's random appearances behind Warren from time to time. There was a bit of costuming in terms of backgrounds and headgear but the spirit was really in the presentations and the fact that we got pretty drunk during this one, probably a bit drunker than we intended to when we started! It's worth mentioning that we did back-to-back DTL streams because of a cancelled episode earlier in the month so we're going to go back to our bi-weekly schedule for the foreseeable future so be sure check out our schedule for more! Here's the twenty-third episode of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and this one took a while to upload for a lot of reasons. First of all, this was recorded on Halloween so there was a lot of spoopy fun all around. We were joined by Geoff and Kyuu in this one and even though Pleiades was on board, we chose to cut out his presentation for the final version. Before we get to that though, we had a lot of fun with this one and we were all dressed up in some fashion since Halloween isn't really a thing this year due to the pandemic. It almost went full circle as Molly did her "Story of Evil Hill" presentation without the pain of the hell noodles, Manuel finally covered ouija boards, and Warren wrapped up his discussion on Hmong culture. Geoff and Kyuu took more personal routes, but their presentations were fun too. That said, we not only cut out Pleiades presentation (and the real ending of the stream) so we decided to film a new one and tacked it onto the end, hence the delay. Don't overthink it too much though, just watch and enjoy and pray that Pleiades and the others come back from being lost in the spoopy woods! Here's the fifteenth of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and it was a LONG one! We had a slow start as not only was Pleiades out for technical difficulties for like 30 minutes, but Molly also broke a plate! After that was all sorted out, we managed to hit an hour presentation AGAIN with Warren's presentation on his people, the Hmong. Elsewhere we talked Lily Garden Ads, Matt nonsense, period symptoms, wuxia, and Hard Gay. It's worth mentioning that Callie literally changed her presentation right before she actually presented it and talked periods instead of her original topic. ALSO, she was in her "Comfort Callie" persona and was really chill and even sported a filter. Molly also was dressed up as "Lily" from Lily's Garden! Lots of randomness here and there along with looking at some of Leslie's art in the second volume of the Hetalia manga and lots of topics that aren't exactly SFW! Anyhow, this one went close to six hours and we're going to try to keep them at least somewhat shorter in the future, but everyone had a good time and we even looked over our Morton's List dictionary that we created over the past week which lead to a "hip off" between Molly and Pleiades!
