If you've ever thought that it was just witches who have familiars, you’d be wrong! Demons have the familiars in this world, and most of them are monsters! Whether it’s three-headed hounds, huge horned creatures, or deceivingly cute cat-like creatures, these Demons all have a lot on their hands in ‘Sorry For My Familiar’. Patty is a cute demon with an unusual familiar… He is a huge human named Norman! While Patty is on a quest to find her father, who just seemed to up and disappear, Norman is on his own quest - to protect… no wait, he just wants to see and index as many demons and monsters as he can. Patty is a generally normal character. She likes to eat when she has the spare money, she is interested in traveling and the sights she will see when she tries to find her father… What she lacks in size, she seems to make up for in drive! Norman, on the other hand, seems eccentric and unusual to everyone in this world though, honestly, he would be weird on Earth too… In the first volume, while we are introduced to these main characters and they start the adventure together, we meet various different demons and familiars that all spike a huge interest in Norman. The art, while unusual of Japanese manga style that I personally am used to, is very cute and unique to look at. Seven Seas is the western publisher for this manga and we are looking forward to more volumes as they come out here in the states! If you are looking for an upbeat adventure with quirky characters, and you have an interest in demons, familiars, and Normans, make sure you check out "Sorry For My Familiar"! -Swittx For More Info on "Sorry For My Familiar": http://www.sevenseasentertainment.com/series/sorry-for-my-familiar/ Rating: Art: 3.5 / 5 Familiars Story: 4 / 5 Familiars Cover: 4 / 5 Familiars FULL DISCLOSURE: This title was provided to A-to-J Connections free-of-charge by the publisher for the purpose of review.
