 Paul Dateh is an actor, singer, songwriter, and voice actor. He is probably best known to A-to-J readers as the voice of Wakana Gojo from My Dress-Up Darling. Other than that role though, he's an accomplished musician who went viral with the video "Hip Hop Violin", and whose work can be heard on Miley Cyrus' albums "Younger Now" and "Bangerz". He also recently released his third album, "Healing". We were lucky enough to catch up to him recently at San Diego Anime Con and discussed his start in voice acting, his other projects, and the differences between creating music and voice work. The Boy and the Heron Becomes Studio Ghibli's Highest Grossing Film at the North American Box Office12/18/2023  Studio Ghibli’s The Boy and the Heron has earned an estimated $23.4 million according to theater reports, following its second weekend in theaters. The film is now Academy Award-winning director Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli’s highest grossing film released in North America, exceeding Ponyo ($15.7 million), as well as the highest grossing original (non-franchise IP) Japanese animated feature in North America – the record of which was previously held by Hiromasa Yonebayashi and Studio Ghibli’s The Secret World of Arrietty, which ended at $19.5 million in local box office. The Boy and the Heron will continue to play in North American theaters through the holidays.

 Seven Seas Entertainment, through its Siren imprint for audiobooks, recently announced the launch of an audiobook series for The World’s Fastest Level Up by Nagato Yamata and fame. Narrated by Pierce Cravens–known for voice acting in Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy and appearing in TV series like Veep–this is the first-ever English audiobook version of the light novels.
