By Manuel  New Gods: Yang Jian is the latest animated film from Light Chaser Animation and director Zhao Ji, both of whom previously brought us White Snake and New Gods: Nezha. It is the second movie in the New Gods series and is a take on the Chinese mythological figure of Yang Jian (also known as Erlang Shen). The English-language version, presented in both subtitled format and with a brand new dub, is brought to us by way of GKIDS. So, let's take a look and see if this is the first must-see animation movie of the year.
 Comic and manga publisher ABLAZE has some amazing news as they recently announced that they have licensed four manga titles from the legendary Osamu Tezuka from Tezauka Productions. These titles, licensed in cooperation with DI Books, are all set for their first ever English publications starting later this year via the ABLAZE MANGA imprint, and further details on these releases can be found below!
 GKIDS recently announced that it has acquired the North American distribution rights for "Spirited Away: Live On Stage", filmed during the hit production’s 2022 run at the historic Imperial Theatre in Tokyo, Japan.  Illustration: Lin Junbun The 12th episode of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury has just aired, ending the cour with several hard-hitting cliffhangers and a bloody post-credits scene that has the whole fandom buzzing. Animation studio Sunrise, however, has announced that episode 12 is no longer the end of the first cour of the show's first season; it is the end of the season proper. The previously-announced second cour, meant to air in April, will now be considered the show's second season, and is assumed to be the end of the run for The Witch From Mercury.
 GKIDS announced today that it will bring "New Gods: Yang Jian", the latest feature from the powerhouse Chinese animation studio Light Chaser Animation (White Snake, New Gods: Nezha Reborn) to cinemas nationwide starting January 20, 2023. Directed by Ji Zhao (White Snake, New Gods: Nezha Reborn)
 ABLAZE recently announced a quartet of new titles available and they include the manga/manhwa/webtoon titles: Blitz (manga), Heavenly Demon Reborn! (manhwa/webtoon), The Breaker (manhwa), and Zombie Makeout Club (webtoon). These releases come right in time for the holiday season, with all titles available at Barnes & Noble and other key retailers beginning November 22nd.
