ASMR Audio "NECOGURASHI" Releasing June 15th & Will Run for Seven Consecutive Weeks

Fans of ASMR will be pleased to know that the ASMR audio series "NECOGURASHI - The Calico Cat Girl & The Sound of A Bell" will be available on June 15 with the heroine of the first episode, Calico Cat, being voiced by Sumire Uesaka. The series will run for seven consecutive weeks.

ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is a relaxing, often sedative sensation that begins on the scalp and moves down the body. It is most commonly triggered by auditory or visual stimuli. Recently, this phenomenon has been gaining popularity, and many ASMR-related sounds and videos have been posted to social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.

NECOGURASHI takes place at Nekomeikan, an inn located on a world between worlds, and features several unique cat girls. The cat girl who wins the favor of The Chosen One (the listener) will be selected as shrine maiden and allowed to reincarnate on Earth.

The first episode features Calico Cat (CV. Sumire Uesaka). Around three hours in length, it is a new type of audio tale that combines a story with pleasant ASMR sounds such as ear cleaning and cat toys created by a talented sound production team.

Character design was done by the illustrator booota and sound production by CANDY VOICE.

NECOGURASHI titles will release every Monday (starting June 15), and future announcements will cover new characters and voice actresses.
