The Longest Five Minutes Release Announced

In news that we were hoping would be coming soon, NIS America recently announced that they will be bringing The Longest Five Minutes to North America on February 13, 2018 worldwide for PS Vita, PC (via Steam), and the Nintendo Switch!

Originally developed by Nippon Ichi Software and SYUPRO-DX, The Longest Five Minutes puts you inside the mind of a hero during his final encounter with an epic and evil Overlord. As our hero faces this ultimate evil, he suddenly loses all his memories. His finishing moves, the name of his hometown, and even the very reason he is trying to defeat the Overlord in the first place are all gone. All is not lost as the taunts of the Overlord trigger memories to come back.

The slow trick of memories of the hero's journey prior to the battle with the Overlord unlock via conversations you have with you party and the Overlord himself. These memories play out in a classic 8-bit RPG style and the outcome of these memories will lead to either the strengthening or weakening of your party in the final battle.

The game offers many more features that we can't wait to try out for ourselves, but more on that in the coming months. The game is available now for the PS Vita in Japan and NIS America released a trailer for the North American release which can be found below!
