Magearna Now Available in Pokémon Sun and Moon

Magearna. The first Mythical of Sun and Moon.

Kicking off the amazingly successful launch of the 7th Generation Pokémon games, we’ve already just been introduced to the newest Mythical Pokémon: Magearna. It released today in conjunction with the US release of Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, the newest Pokémon Movie.
 
Magearna is a Steel/Fairy Pokémon who can be obtained by following these steps:

1. Complete the main story.
2. Go to the QR Scanner feature.
3. Scan the QR Code (supplied below).
4. Pick up Magearna from the deliveryman at the Antiquities of the Ages shop in Hau’oli City!

Use this in the QR Scanner.

That’s it! Since this is done via QR Code, it will be available indefinitely. On another note, in case you didn’t know Arceus is available in X, Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire via Mystery Gift code ‘ARCEUS20’ (until December 31, only for those who had not claimed Arceus earlier in the year), while Munchlax is available in Sun and Moon via Wi-Fi Mystery Gift (until January 11).
