URBANGARDE Announce Compilation Album "Ai to Gensou no URBANGARDE"

Japanese trauma techno pop band URBANGARDE has announced the release date of the their next album, Ai to Gensou no URBANGARDE (“URBANGARDE of Love and Fantasy”). Due for release on November 21, 2018, the first-press limited edition of the album will also contain the DVD of URBANGARDE’s 10th anniversary concert “KEKKON SHIKI” recorded live at Nakano Sun Plaza on April 8th.

Ai to Gensou no URBANGARDE continues the band’s celebration of their 10th anniversary, coming just a few months after their April album release, Shoujo Fiction. The new album will feature a collection of the band’s favorite songs from their previous albums, plus rare, unreleased tracks and two new songs.

During their ten years of artistic work, URBANGARDE has released 10 albums, 2 mini-albums, 7 singles, 4 DVDs, and 3 books. Their “KEKKON SHIKI” event was broadcast in a condensed format for the 90-minute slot on SKY PerfecTV!, and it will be available in its full length of over two hours on DVD in the first-run limited edition, with a new edit and more camera angles.

Ai to Gensou no URBANGARDE is designed to form a set to their previous compilation album Koi to Kakumei to URBANGARDE, released in 2013 from Universal Japan.

URBANGARDE also presents UTSU FES 2018 this Saturday, September 8, at Tsutaya O-East. The annual all-day music festival features performances by:

After UTSU FES 2018, the band will prepare for their one-man “Shoujo Fiction Tour ～THIS IS TRAUMA TECHNO POP～” across Japan with shows in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo.
