Tsuzuri Releases First Digital Single: “Uraomote”

Today, singer Tsuzuri released her first digital single: “Uraomote”. Tsuzuri is primarily active online, sharing cover videos of Vocaloid and J-pop songs on platforms like YouTube and TikTok. With over 50,000 subscribers on YouTube, she has gained a significant following. Following up this debut she was also recently chosen to perform the opening theme song for the upcoming anime series The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, which will air this July in Japan. “Uraomote” was composed and arranged by Giga, a sound creator known for hits such as “Odo” and “CH4NGE”, with lyrics by Tanaka (previously known as Boku no Lyric no Boyomi). The single cover jacket was drawn by the illustrator Tabun-ningen. To commemorate the release of her first digital single, and hitting the 50,000 subscribers milestone, three of the songs that Tsuzuri covered on YouTube - "Cat Loving (Kashi Moimi)", "In The Bathroom (REISAI)", and "Darling (MARETU)" - will be released simultaneously. These songs are now available on music streaming and download services and are linked below.

Additionally, a music video for “Uraomote”  also dropped today on Tsuzuri’s YouTube channel. The video, which features the character on the cover jacket, was created by Hissha and Okiku, the animator tag team behind Giga’s “CH4NGE” video. It too can be found below.

Profile:
A female vocalist primarily active on YouTube, social media, and the internet, Tsuzuri made her first YouTube post at the age of 13. Her cover of “Odo,” recorded solely using her iPhone, garnered 700,000 views, and she has already amassed 50,000 YouTube subscribers at the young age of 16.

Aside from possessing a surprisingly mature singing voice for her age, Tsuzuri exhibits excellent vocal abilities that enable her to adapt to various styles that complement the music she performs. She sings a wide range of genres, from dark tunes to pop and dance tracks, all while managing her academic responsibilities. Additionally, she is a member of the high school unit GooDrug. Beyond singing, she showcases her diverse talents in areas such as illustration and video editing. Tsuzuri’s major debut came with her performance of the opening theme song for the anime series The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses.
