Liyuu Releases New MV for “OPEN UP!” Ahead of Upcoming Mini-Album

Liyuu is a popular voice actor, singer, and cosplayer from Shanghai, China that is currently signed under the Lantis label and her first mini concept album, titled "koii", is set to come out later this month on February 22. During the second anniversary celebration of her radio show, "Liyuu no Hatsu Raji", she revealed the MV for the lead song off the album: "OPEN UP!". Perhaps best known as the voice actor for Keke Tang from Love Live! Superstar!!, her upcoming mini-album follows several solo singles, the most recent of which was her third, "TRUE FOOL LOVE". Her latest track, "OPEN UP!", was composed and arranged by JUVENILE and Teddyloid with the theme of “Let’s all fall in love”. In addition, Liyuu announced that she would also be making a music video for “Yellow”, another song from the upcoming mini-album. This song explores the theme of falling in love with a childhood friend, and the music video will feature Nagisa Aoyama, a fellow member of the school idol group Liella in Love Live! Superstar!!. In January 2020, she made her debut as an artist with “Magic Words,” the opening theme song for the TV anime Hatena Illusion.
