Edda to Sing "Mubanso", ED Theme of The Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2

It was recently announced that musician and visual artist Edda was chosen to provide the ending theme for The Ancient Magus' Bride's second season and you can read all about the new release, and a bit about Edda herself, below!

The Ancient Magus’ Bride has sold over 10 million copies and captured the attention of readers worldwide. Its popularity has continued to soar since the release of the 2017 TV anime adaptation and the subsequent stage adaptations in 2019 and 2020. Fans have eagerly awaited season 2 of the anime, which is scheduled to premiere in April 2023, and it was recently announced that Edda has been selected to perform “Mubanso”, the ending theme of the upcoming season. To go along with this announcement, the song has been featured in the recently released 3rd trailer.

“Mubanso” is a remarkable track that seamlessly transitions from stillness to movement, with edda’s captivating vocals adding a grandiose touch that perfectly complements the magnificent world of The Ancient Magus’ Bride. “Mubanso” will be available for digital distribution starting from April 6, the same day as the first broadcast of The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2. The CD version, which includes the titular song and two coupling tracks, will be released on May 24.
