Baki Hanma Theme Songs, "Sarracenia" & "Salvia" by SKY-HI and BE:FIRST, Release Anime Themed MVs

Featuring the opening and ending songs from the anime series "Baki Hanma", which began streaming globally on Netflix on August 24, the new split single "Sarracenia / Salvia" from SKY-HI and BE:FIRST is now available on streaming services worldwide. New music videos for each song were also released, and you can check out details on the release below!

The video for the opening theme song "Sarracenia" by SKY-HI, which is based on the "Baki Hanma" character Yuujiro Hanma, is like a blockbuster martial arts movie in which the character played by SKY-HI must overcome various trials in his pursuit of the perfect bowl of miso soup. This bold, catchy video includes Easter eggs that "Baki" fans will love, such as the Triceratops Fist martial arts technique that appears in the original manga.

Meanwhile, the video for BE:FIRST’s ending theme song "Salvia", based on the character Baki Hanma, is a special lyric video that uses animation and CG techniques to animate illustrations from the original manga. Both videos are sure to be a treat for fans of the anime series and can be found below!

Not only does SKY-HI have incredible skills as a rapper, he also uses his outstanding vocal, dance and trackmaking skills to self-produce music that is bursting with entertainment value. He is also the CEO of his own management agency and label BMSG, as well as serving as a producer for other artists – a true all-rounder who is shaping new possibilities for the future of the Japanese music scene.

He made his major-label debut in 2005 as a member of AAA, and around the same time, he began to take the mic at Tokyo clubs under the name SKY-HI, gaining props in the hip-hop scene. He made his major debut as a solo artist in 2013 and has released six albums, whose high quality has earned high praise in the hip-hop scene and beyond genre boundaries. In 2020, SKY-HI launched the management agency and label BMSG and took on the role of CEO. In the same year, he hosted the boyband audition THE FIRST, and the following year he oversaw the newly formed boyband BE:FIRST as producer.

2023 saw the debut of SKY-HI’s second group as producer, MAZZEL.
