 GKIDS recently released a new trailer for the upcoming animated feature "On-Gaku: Our Sound" from director Kenji Iwaisawa, based on the manga by Hiroyuki Ohashi. The film will play in select theatrical markets starting December 11, 2020.
 Seven Seas Entertainment recently announced seven new light novel titles (with a couple also getting their manga adaptations) that were picked up for release on both its main imprint and its Airship light novel imprint! Seven Seas Entertainment is excited to announce the license acquisitions of two light novel and manga series! First is "She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman" by Hirotsugu Ryuusen, Fuzichoco, and Dicca Suemitsu, the fantasy tale of a young man sucked into another world, where he must roleplay an old man in a young woman’s body - soon to be an anime! Second is "I Swear I Won’t Bother You Again!" by Reina Soratani and Haru Harukawa, the story of a noblewoman’s attempt to rewrite the past - and avoid her descent into villainy!
Yen Press recently announced publication plans for the Yen On edition (read: print) of the Haruhi Suzumiya light novels, written by Nagaru Tanigawa with art by Noizi Ito. The relaunch of the iconic series will start with "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and "The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya", scheduled for January 2021 release. Two additional volumes will be released every month from February 2021 to May 2021.
 One of the most influential characters in anime returns with a new adventure! The exciting new film "Lupin III: The First" makes its way to home entertainment this winter following a North American theatrical run. Introducing the beloved characters in CG animation for the first time, the film will be released on digital download-to-own on December 15, 2020 and on Blu-ray + DVD combo pack, as a standalone DVD, and as a SteelBook edition of the Blu-ray combo on January 12, 2021 from GKIDS and Shout! Factory.
 Yen Press, LLC announced a slate of upcoming titles during a virtual panel titled The Yen Press Manga and Light Novel Party that was a part of New York Comic Con Metaverse. Acquisitions included manga ("Hana-chan and the Shape of the World", "Please Put Them On, Takamine-san!!", "In Another World With My Smartphone", "Can’t Stop Cursing You", "Sex Education 120%" and "Love of Kill"), light novels ("Durarara!! SH", "Yokohama Station SF" and "Hazure Skill: The Guild Member with a Worthless Skill Is Actually a Legendary Assassin") and both the light novel and manga adaptation of "Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense".

Aniplex of America is thrilled to announce the "Your lie in April" Complete Blu-ray Set arriving just in time for the holiday season on December 22, 2020. For the first time ever, fans can now own all twenty-two episodes of the heartwarming series in six Blu-ray discs, housed in a beautiful box featuring illustration by character designer Yukiko Aikei. The Blu-ray set includes thirteen collectible illustration cards, plus audio commentary by the English cast and director (Episode 1 and 22), English bloopers, the English trailer, as well as textless openings and endings.

 Yen Press recently announced the acquisition of the Sword Art Online Platinum Collector’s Edition, a deluxe limited edition box set of the iconic Sword Art Online light novel series written by Reki Kawahara with illustrations by abec.
