Platform(s): PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch Process of Elimination is an adventure game that tosses in visual novel and board game elements into the mix. It is both developed and published by Nippon Ichi Software and is finally available for both the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch in the West following a Japanese release back in 2021. One has to ask if this title was worth the wait, and perhaps also tackle a few issues concerning a comparison to a certain long-running gaming franchise. Looks like we have a lot to cover here, so let's do just that and see if this mystery is one you're going to want to solve yourself!

Platform(s): Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 GrimGrimorie OnceMore is a remaster of the original GrimGrimoire first released in 2007 by Vanillaware, developers of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Dragon’s Crown, and my favorite: Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Players take on the role of Lillet Blan as she arrives at the Tower of the Silver Star and spends her first five days in training as a mage... and then lives through those days again... and again... and so on... By Rose Sonic is dead, and it's up to you to find out who killed him. SEGA's (early) April Fool's joke comes in the form of a fan-made visual novel which tasks the player with solving the murder of the famous blue hedgehog. The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, available for free via Steam, features a handful of the franchise's most beloved characters taking on new identities in a murder mystery game set up for Amy's birthday, and on average should last you around three hours.
