Here's the fifty-third episode of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and this one was one where we both got back on track and where we all kind of winged it. Warren and Pleiades had presentations that had a little less form than usual but were a lot of fun nonetheless and still were cool topics. Callie had an odd room tour that was entertaining but it's arguable whether that was a presentation. Still good content though and the drinks were still flowing! Manuel talked Saigo Takamori and was by far the longest presentation (still only thirty-five ish minutes though) and there was a surprising amount of randomness throughout this one, especially at the beginning, which was all over the place and included just about everyone. A pretty different episode than usual, but all the content was there and at least we're being consistent again! Now, it's time to sit back watch, and wait until we announce some changes to the show because those are on the way! Here's the forty-sixth episode of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and we're in our Second Season! That's right, last week's episode was our unannounced One Year Anniversary and this marks the first episode of the new year (though oddly both this one and the OG first episode were on Memorial Day weekend because of calendar nonsense) and it's a rather interesting one. Viewers might notice a totally different look to this one and that's due to the fact that this one was hosted not by Callie, but by Warren (AKA Badman) and uses his setup. No Timer-chan, a pentagram-ish non presenting layout, and some transition screens! Also, due to Warren hosting the audio volume is lower than usual overall BUT it's worth mentioning that we fixed this a few minutes in so be prepared for that shift in audio headphone users! Then again, no one reads these descriptions so you'll most likely just click off when it changes randomly lol. Anyhow, no Callie or Molly, but we really wanted to go with this episode as we knew that we would be skipping the next week for a while and we asked veterans Yuji and Hao to join us again this time around. Lots of fun presentations, bands with music based on Berserk, a sort of Yaoi Draw My Life Storytime, some awesome tips for GMs and more! This setup won't take over all the upcoming DTLs, but it's safe to say that whenever Warren hosts it'll look like this so be prepared for that in the future! Here's the forty-fourth episode of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and this is a weird one. It's not weird in terms of hosts as it's our five standard hosts (Molly joining again) and our presentations were all long, but not surprisingly so, but there was a lot of weirdness when it comes to the visuals of this show. We have been talking about leaving Zoom (which is what we use for our calls) for a while now and we latched onto the idea of using Skype after learning about a lot of features it had in the back end that could help us out. Then we learned about "Together Mode". The entire first 30 minutes of this show is basically us having fun with the mode and waiting until Molly joined us. The rest is kind of normal, but the changes in call meant some quirks in the show itself that we weren't expecting. Also, a lot of errors happened at the end and literally everything dropped at one point. We apologize if any of this is odd but these videos have chapters so you can just skip to segments if you like. Presentations are the usual fare with Warren talking fighting games, Manuel talking lesser-known movie sequels, Callie having an open discussion of sorts regarding the Urban Rescue Ranch, and more. We also had wombats and a surprising presentation on Sega from Pleiades. A fun show even if we probably never use Skype again in the future. Here's the sixth of our "Drink Talk Learn" streams and just to give everyone a brief primer, we all came up with a (hopefully! lol) ten-minute presentation and must drink some sort of alcohol every minute starting at the three-minute mark! This usually leads to a lot of nonsense and the entire stream usually starts to unravel as the final presentations are being done. This one saw the first DTL stream where Callie was not present. This particular one was actually almost cancelled many times and was originally going to be a Fourth of July stream, thankfully we switched it up to a Friday one (avoided the insane fireworks on the 4th) and we snagged Ren as a co-host for this one! Since Ren is another member of Peachy Parade (we previously had Megan on before) there was an attempt to pick some fruitier drinks to go with our colorful presentations! Speaking of presentations, even though we only had five of them, we somehow managed to make this stream run for almost five hours, a crazy feat. We also implemented a new voting system here, but that definitely needs some work... Anyhow, this one was a lot of fun and even though Callie wasn't on to reign us in, we still got through this one! (Oh, and Callie would make a guest appearance at the end!)
