nano.RIPE is a two-member group made up of Kimiko (Guitar, Vocals), and Jun Sasaki (Guitar). They formed in 2004, and made their major debut in 2010. Though they have a wide body of music that crosses over into several styles and themes, they're probably best known to overseas fans by way of the theme songs that they've provided for anime like Hanasaku Iroha, The Devil Is A Part-Timer!, Non Non Biyori, Food Wars!, and Tensei Shite Inaka de Slow Life wo Okuritai, just to name a few. They recently released their latest full-length album, "Hikari wo Hakobumono", and are currently celebrating the 15th anniversary since their major debut. We recently had the opportunity sit down with nano.RIPE and discuss their formation, their music, that aforementioned new album, and their hopes for the future. Check it out, and then be sure to give their music a listen via the links at the end of the interview!
