Late last year we had the pleasure of meeting retired JAV actress Shibuya Kaho at HentaiCon and after about a year between that one and now, we ran into her again at Anime Expo! Never one to let herself get bored, Kaho had a lot to share with us this time from things we left out to new endeavors. While the HentaiCon interview [Which can be found HERE] centered more on her former work in JAV, this time one focuses more on her love for cosplays, anime, manga, and convention appearances, with a few surprises thrown in as well! Be sure to check it out and catch her at some upcoming conventions near you!
It’s been almost a year since we last spoke to ACME, and what a year it’s been for the visual kei band. With several more single releases dropping after their release of the full length album, Zesshou Ouka, and more shows in Japan and America, we were lucky enough to have the chance to sit down with them after their first Texas live at A-kon 2019! Check out our chat about their new singles, dream collaborations, and how good Girl Scout cookies are!

Playing their first show in America at A-Kon 2019, Brian the Sun has fast become a recognizable name with anime fans around the world. Their hits LONELY GO and HEROES have been used as themes for Boruto and My Hero Academia, and they’ve also lent their works to Sweetness and Lighting, March Comes In Like a Lion, and more. In their first ever US-based interview, we got to talk about high school music clubs, their favorite foods, going viral, and their recently released album, MEME.
Brian the Sun has their roots set from all the way back in 2007, when Ryota and Haruki were in high school together. Over the years of playing shows, they met Shinji and Shunta, and had their first big single, SISTER, in 2012. Since then they’ve played all over Japan, releasing two mini and two full length albums, and was brought to a huge audience when HEROES was used as an ending theme for the smash hit anime My Hero Academia. We recently sat down with character designer and illustrator Q-Gaku at Anime Expo 2019 and asked him a few questions about his work on various titles like "Kyonyuu Fantasy" (AKA "Funbag Fantasy") and his work in and out of the eroge field. It was a really fun interview and apparently his first and we thank our friends at MangaGamer for the help in arranging this. Check out this interview and then take a look at some of his titles, if you're over 18 of course! Also, note that while much of Q-Gaku's art is NSFW, this interview is perfectly safe barring a few links at the end!
