NECRONOMIDOL Debuts Newest Members!

NECRONOMIDOL has a bit more help to stop fans' hearts cold! After the March announcement that original member Tachibana Ruu would graduate from NECRONOMIDOL, the group made the decision to hold their second new member auditions. The occult idol group, formed in early 2014, held their first new member auditions late last year to find a replacement for original member Henmi Setsuko who left to focus on her studies. From this audition, the group gained one new member, Tsukomu Hotaru.

So when the second audition was announced, I think many fans expected to receive only one new girl again. Fans attending the new member concert were treated to quite a surprise to see not one, but two new members joining the group!

The new members’ profiles are not yet up on the official website but to get an idea of what they might be like, here is an video of Kakizaki, Sari, and Hotaru saying what the group is looking for in a prospective member

• Must have interest in horror, occult, metal, and/or underground idol culture.
• Must be between 15 and 23 years old
• Must be able to commute to and work in Tokyo
• Must not currently belong to an agency
• Minors need parent’s or guardian’s consent

NECRONOMIDOL’s management has a good eye for choosing members, so I’m looking forward to getting to know Karen and Hina and seeing them perform with the group! Despite only having debuted last June, the group has put out 3 amazing singles and performs 2-3 shows a week. On June 30th, they will hold their first Oneman live and if their live shows on YouTube are any indication, it’s going to be something really special. If you like your idols with more edge and a darker image, definitely give NECRONOMIDOL a try and please keep your eye on Karen and Hina and what they will bring to the group.
