Know Your BiStory #7: MURA-MURA

That's it. That image sums up MURA-MURA. We're done here. Though in the interest of consistency, it's probably best to write a little something.

MURA-MURA comes rolling in as the seventh song in the Know Your BiStory countdown. A ska-infused love letter to 90s punk rock, MURA-MURA sees BiS at their most overtly wild and sexual since, well, ever. The phrase "mura-mura" alone refers to a feeling of sudden arousal. And would you just take a look at that video? I'll wait.

The song itself is BiS at their peak, a wild ride of pop punk at the climax of their career. Something about flowing with creative juices, I don't know. Did you WATCH that video? It's about sex. There's no better way to put it. People have taken to foregoing the technical translation and just calling this song "HORNY". Not to mention the lyrics were written by Tentenko, because of course they were.

Regardless of how you feel about bald girls armed with bats singing about how much they love sex, MURA-MURA is an extremely catchy song. That melody can infect your brain at a moment's notice, and you won't soon free yourself from its clutches. Not that you would ever want to forget a song like this. There's a good reason why it's one of our ten favorite BiS songs ever, after all!
