Hello! Project Announces Hello! Project Station Renewal

It was announced on March 12, 2019 at 7:30 PM JST via a livestream on Hello! Project’s YouTube channel, Hello! Project Station, that a new season of Hello! Sta and Upcoming is coming back starting on March 20, 2019. 

The schedule for the renewed shows are:

Hello! Sta new episodes will be released every Wednesday at 7 PM JST
Upcoming new episodes will be released every Thursday at 7 PM JST
Tiny tiny new episodes will be released every Friday at 7 PM JST
 
Previously, each episode of Hello! Sta ran for about an hour long, while now, each episode will be about 30 minutes long. Hello! Station released their first episode on February 5, 2013 starting with Ikuta Erina from Morning Musume and Suzuki Airi from C-ute as the MCs, and ran officially for 280 episodes until July 25, 2018 ending with Miyamoto Karin from Juice=Juice as the MC. Despite the full episodes ending at number 280, the channel released individual videos for content until February 1, 2019. From their announcement, it looks like they will continue to show similar content like in previous Hello! Sta episodes, which can include (but not limited to): live performances, online conversations with foreign fans, makeup and hair styling lessons, cooking lessons, and making-of content.
 
Their Upcoming episodes has more emphasis for content to include not just from Hello! Project but also from the parent company Up-Front music acts, which can include (but not limited to): studio recordings, live performances, and making-of content. Upcoming went through various iterations starting with UF LICKS on February 15, 2013, then it changed its show name to MUSIC+ on May 9, 2014. The show name, Upcoming, started on January 29, 2016 and went until episode 128 on July 27, 2018. Much like with Hello! Station after the season ended, they released individual videos until December 8, 2018.
