BiS is Back - BiS Songs as Performed by New BiS

New BiS has been a tough subject for me. While I'm glad that one of my favorite idol groups is back, the live performances with the new members have been... not so good. The wait for new studio material has been frustrating at best! This morning, though, that wait has come to an end. BiS released a ton of redone versions of old songs right onto their Soundcloud account!

nerve is one of the highlights, being the once-and-forever BiS theme song that it is. Though I personally have to admit that I'm feeling the lack of Nozomi vocals in this one, the new girls manage to pull it off pretty well. The updated instrumental is great too!

I also want to mention primal. and IDOL, the only post-indie songs new BiS has touched so far. They sound amazing! My only major qualm with the sound of new BiS (gotta stop calling them that...) is that these girls can't reasonably stand up to Pour Lui. While their voices aren't bad, they're also not at the level of BiS' final lineup where everybody was playing to their strengths in all the best ways. They're gonna need to have some time to grow.

I'm fairly certain that the songs uploaded to Soundcloud are what comprises the new album, so I won't spoil too much. Expect a full review when the album drops; my interest is peaked!
