BABYMETAL Announce US/European World Tour 2018 Dates

BABYMETAL has announced their upcoming US/European World Tour 2018 dates! And they're quite interesting!

Let's tackle the US dates first. For those who complain that Japanese artists prefer to only travel to the West or East Coasts you'll be pleased to note that most of these dates in the US favor the South! There are a total of three dates set up specifically for Texas alone. European dates are more varied taking place in Germany, Austrai, the Netherlands, and the UK.

What's more interesting is that this tour announcement seems to come in place of an announcement regarding any new music. BABYMETAL hasn't seen a new original music release since their second album, METAL RESISTANCE, that was released almost two years on April 1, 2016. While these shows are all but assured to sell well (if not sell out) I hope that there will be announcements of new music in 2018.
