AKB48 49th Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo Updates

We learned earlier this evening that the AKB48 49th Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo has been canceled according to the AKB48 official blog and Sousenkyo website news.
 
Yesterday, Toyosaki Seaside Park, Toyosaki Villa SUN Beach in Tomigusuku, Okinawa Prefecture, the venue for this years Sousenkyo, was flooded out due to torrential rainstorms hitting the area. For a while, it seems the weather would have been calm for the rest of the days to come. Now, weather has turned worse once again making it unsuitable for an outdoor event.

Update at 10:00 PM CST:
FujiTV has announced they will be streaming Sousenkyo on their TV station and channels. We are assuming that fans will not be present at the announcement of the ranks.

Update at 10:30 PM CST:
Earlier, it was rumored that Sousenkyo would be moved to Okinawa Citizens Hall. They now confirmed that they will be livestreaming the results from the city hall. This has turned into an indoor event with still no word if fans can attend. Sousenkyo will carry on.

Update at 11:00 PM CST:
Result announcement of AKB48 49th Senbatsu Sousenkyo 2017 will be aired on Fuji TV June 17, 2017 start 19:00 JST

Update at 1:15 AM (June 16) CST:
BS Perfect Sky will continue their stream of Sousenkyo as planned

A showroom live has also been setup to stream Sousenkyo. No word if this will be region locked but this is a free 100% legal stream.

The planned pre-concert is being replaced by the AKB48 Request Hour 2017 on BS Perfect Sky TV only. The results time is the same.

Update: AKB48 announced that they will be streaming live fan reactions from the theaters to the members in Okinawa Citizens Hall.
