Unlucky Morpheus Announce New EP

The members of rock band Unlucky Morpheus have described themselves as a band with a love for metal, anime, video games, manga, and seafood. (Yes, seafood. Really. Check their official profile.)

The band is a project of some notable musicians in the rock and metal industry - for example, female vocalist and lyricist Fuyuki Tengei (Fuki Commune, LIGHT BRINGER, DOLL$BOXX, Dragon Guardian, Sound Horizon Nein), along with guitarist and composer Shiren (Yousei Teikoku, DenKare).

Shiren announced on Thursday via Twitter that the band would be releasing a new EP entitled ‘Black Pentagram.’ It officially releases on January 18th of next year. This comes after Unlucky Morpheus having released their first original album in 2014, and their first original single in 2015, with the previous releases being heavy-metal arrangements of Touhou OSTs and the like.

The CD has three tracks on it, with a sample of all three being available here.
