R!N to Release First Single, “Get away /Naked”, Since Singer/Songwriter Restart

It's been a year and a half since R!N, vocalist of the band Aldious, suspended her activities as a singer and songwriter, but she recently announced that she will be releasing the single “Get away/Naked”, marking the restart of her said singer-songwriter career on Thursday March 18!

This single is the first chapter in R!N’s singer-songwriter restart project titled: “REVIVAL PROJECT”. Not just any “restart” though, this is a restart that will show R!N’s further evolution backed by experience she gained through her various activities, including those with Aldious and with Hiroyuki Sawano’s vocal project, SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]. The latter of which she took part in under the name "Gemie".

A change from her previous songs which featured mainly the piano, R!N’s restart 1st single “Get away / Naked” has a band sound centered around the guitar. Breaking away from the idea that solo activities means to be on one’s own, having experienced many encounters and partings throughout her career, R!N continued to search for the meaning of “being together”, eventually finding a new band style. While “Get away” is a rock tune with a sense of speed, “Naked” is a mid-rock song with straight-forward “naked” lyrics which pierce straight through, a reflection of the title. In the recording studio, with the help of musicians who have continued to support R!N in her live shows, a full live sound has been recreated in the studio with zero compromise.

In addition, the single’s artwork, and music video welcomes Taichi Nishimaki who has previously worked with artists like SOUTHERN ALL STARS, Gen Hoshino, and Hiroyuki Sawano in photography and video work. The artwork and music video allows you to feel R!N’s passion and warmth.

Advanced pre-orders of the first press limited edition (CD+DVD 2-disc set) of “Get away / Naked” are now open on R!N’s official fan club “R!N di fiore”. The first press limited edition features an album jacket utilizing a different photo. Personally signed by R!N, the first press limited edition will be shipped the day before the single release date. The regular edition of the single will be shipped out starting March 18 and will be simultaneously available digitally.

The “REVIVAL PROJECT” is a large-scale project which will incorporate all the experiences R!N has gained throughout her music career. As a singer-songwriter and as part of the band Aldious, with her various activities resonating “together” R!N continues to fly high as a musician. Next up will be the second single of this restart project, scheduled to be released in April.
