Chilli Beans., the Japanese three-piece band featuring members Moto (vocals), Maika (bass and vocals) and Lily (guitar and vocals), recently released their new mini album "blue night" on Wednesday, December 4. Details, links, and more regarding this release can be found below!

The mini album is themed on the “story of a blue night” and contains nine songs, including lead track "escape" – the band’s first ever song to include lyrics entirely in English. The song is set on one night, with touching lyrics about forgetting everything just for now, and escaping the world to be alone together. With its warm acoustic guitar chords and soothing sound, it conveys a sweet tale of two people finding a fleeting moment in the chaos of life to dream together – a moment that means the world to them.

Chilli Beans. are a three-piece band from Japan, formed in 2019 by Moto (vocals), Maika (bass and vocals) and Lily (guitar and vocals). Their neo-garage style fuses rock with a next-generation sound, infused with cool vocals and killer melodies that linger in your ears. Their August 2021 single ‘lemonade’ ranked top on Spotify’s Viral 50 (Japan) daily playlist, while the January 2023 single ‘rose feat. Vaundy’ topped Billboard JAPAN’s Heatseekers Songs chart twice, and the band have rapidly reached fans across generations over social media. Chilli Beans. are armed with an outstanding songwriting sense, a knack for killer choruses, and live performances that unite the audience as one.

Chilli Beans. released their third EP, ‘mixtape’, on February 1, 2023. This was followed by their fourth EP ‘for you’ in August the same year, with the track ‘Raise’ chosen as the ending theme song for the anime series ‘ONE PIECE’.

Also in August 2023, they performed their largest nationwide tour to date, with the ‘for you TOUR’ drawing over 10,000 fans. Their second full-length album ‘Welcome to My Castle’ followed on December 13, and the album track ‘I like you’ was used as the theme song for the KTV/Fuji TV network drama series ‘Toki wo Kakeruna, Koibitotachi’.

On February 3, 2024, they held their first solo performance at the legendary Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, for a special concert titled ‘Chilli Beans. “Welcome to My Castle” at Budokan’. The show was a sold-out success, and was followed by their first ever hall tour, titled ‘open my mind Hall Tour’, which kicked off in October.
