By Ivan Aburto  The recent public health situation has seen several online events and conventions replace the in-person ones that were forced to cancel. Last weekend saw "Anime Lockdown 2020" go live.
This first year virtual con streamed on Twitch.tv. There was also a discord server for fans to gather and talk about various subjects as well as displaying their cosplays. The discord server had many vendors who are going through difficult times due to convention cancellations.. The panels averaged a few hundred to over 800 viewers on twitch, which ran very smoothly.
