JUNNA Set to Release Opening Theme for The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Part 2: “Nemurasareta Lineage"

The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Part 2, which is scheduled to begin airing this October, recently released its fourth trailer and it revealed that “Nemurasareta Lineage”, JUNNA’s seventh single, has been selected as its opening theme. Details on the upcoming release of both the single and the anime can be found below.

The lyrics and music of “Nemurasareta Lineage” were penned by Chiaki Ishikawa, known for her musical contributions to various works such as Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and Sengoku Basara 3. The arrangement was done by Yusuke Shirato, who has crafted the musical world of The Ancient Magus Bride through numerous tracks. JUNNA’s seventh single, titled “Nemurasareta Lineage”, is scheduled for release on October 25. Both regular and limited editions will include not only the title track but also the songs “Unite” and “On My Side”. The former is a fast-paced rock tune, while the latter is a beautiful melody with composition by Masanori Shimada and warm lyrics by JUNNA herself. In addition, the limited edition will feature “CONTRAST -LIVE 2023 Ver.-”, while the regular edition will include “Dear -LIVE 2023 Ver.-”, both from the sold-out “JUNNA ROCK YOU TOUR 2023 ~Dear...~”.

To go along with this announcement JUNNA has unveiled a new artist photo, in which she alluringly holds a pair of fruits and casts a mysterious gaze at the camera.
