Colorful Japanese Fashion Brand galaxxxy Attending A-Kon 2018 as Fashion Guests

For those of our readers planning on attending A-Kon in June, it was recently announced that Japanese Harajuku brand galaxxxy will be a fashion guest at A-Kon 29!

galaxxxy is well-known for its colorful palette and diverse style. Taking influence from anime, manga, net culture, and 80’s/90’s fashion, galaxxxy brings nostalgia and individuality with each piece. Since being founded in 2008 by Hiromi Kishii, galaxxxy has made quite a name for itself by collaborating with numerous big names in varying industries. These collaborations include Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Cartoon Network, and Sushio (Studio TRIGGER) to name a few. Some past collaborations with anime include, but are not limited to, Dragon Ball, Osomatsu-san, and Sailor Moon.

galaxxxy’s model MARiA, vocalist of GARNiDELiA, will also be a special guest on the runway at A-Kon’s Fashion Show!
