 FanimeCon is a particular favorite convention for A-to-J Connections and we've been attending in some capacity since our very first year. It's been three years since the last FanimeCon and we were so excited for this year's Memorial Day weekend as it was finally coming back to the San Jose Convention Center. It was a bit of a reduced event (which is understandable) but there was still much to see and enjoy and there were a lot of awesome cosplayers wandering the halls. As always we're here to bring you a small sampling of some of the cosplay we say on Friday, Day One, of the convention! Enjoy this gallery and be sure to keep an eye out for more from FanimeCon! All photos by Ivan Aburto  Bak-Anime skipped the past few years for reasons that don't need to be explained, but this year saw the long-running Bakersfield convention return to the Kern County Fairgrounds this weekend! The convention is one of the bigger ones in the area (and ran by the same crew behind SacAnime) so there were a lot of awesome cosplayers throughout the show.
