Aniplex of America Announce "Your lie in April" Complete Blu-ray Set

Aniplex of America is thrilled to announce the "Your lie in April" Complete Blu-ray Set arriving just in time for the holiday season on December 22, 2020. For the first time ever, fans can now own all twenty-two episodes of the heartwarming series in six Blu-ray discs, housed in a beautiful box featuring illustration by character designer Yukiko Aikei. The Blu-ray set includes thirteen collectible illustration cards, plus audio commentary by the English cast and director (Episode 1 and 22), English bloopers, the English trailer, as well as textless openings and endings.

Based on Naoshi Arakawa’s award-winning manga, the Your lie in April anime series premiered in 2014 with animation production by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Blue Exorcist). Directed by Kyohei Ishiguro (Occultic;Nine) with series composition and screenplay by Takao Yoshioka (Wagnaria!!), the series features music by renowned composer Masaru Yokoyama (Fate/Apocrypha, Fruits Basket) and character design by Yukiko Aikei (Accel World).

Your lie in April captures an uplifting tale of youth, music, and romance centered around piano prodigy, Kousei Arima, and violinist, Kaori Miyazono, voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba) and Risa Taneda (ORESUKI: Are you the only one who loves me?)  in the Japanese cast, and Erica Lindbeck (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story) and Max Mittleman (PERSONA5 the Animation) starring in the English cast, under the direction of well-respected ADR Script Writer and English Voice Director Patrick Seitz (anohana -The Flower We Saw That Day-).
