 Iconic Events Releasing, a distribution company specializing in special engagement theatrical events, joins with Anime Expo to present the first-ever "AX Cinema Nights" featuring a new full-length anime film adventure, "Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis <Decide>". Screenings will take place beginning May 12 at theaters nationwide. On-sale dates and theaters will be announced shortly.

 GKIDS announced today it has acquired the North American distribution rights for a slate of four titles from acclaimed writer/director Makoto Shinkai, whose previous films "Your Name." and "Weathering With You" set box office records both in Japan and around the world.
 Seven Seas Entertainment has been bringing a lot of Danmei/BL titles to English-speaking audiences and they have another to come our way! They recently announced that they had acquired the license to the wildly popular novel series from China that inspired a multimedia franchise: "The Husky and His White Cat Shizun: Erha He Ta De Bai Mao Shizun" by Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou. Also known as 2ha (“Erha”), this highly requested historical fantasy epic about a tyrant’s second chance at life and the teacher he can’t get out of his mind will be released in English for the first time!
Square Enix recently announced seven exciting new licensed titles launching from the Square Enix Manga & Books imprints in 2022. The upcoming publications include novels, art books and manga for Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy XIV, the NieR series, Tokyo Aliens and The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses. "Final Fantasy VII Remake: Traces of Two Pasts" Follow the two tales of Final Fantasy VII Remake’s heroines, Tifa and Aerith, as they tell the stories of their lives leading up to the events of the game.
Final Fantasy VII Remake: Traces of Two Pasts (English translated edition) is scheduled for release on November 8, 2022, and will be available for pre-order from the SQUARE ENIX Store and other major booksellers on March 4. Written and directed by Academy Award-winner Hayao Miyazaki, "Princess Mononoke" held Japan's box office record for domestic films for four years until it was unseated by another Studio Ghibli film, "Spirited Away".
