 New conventions aren't exactly the most noteworthy thing, but an 18+ anime convention is! Hentai Matsuri recently took place at the Handlery Hotel in San Diego, and A-to-J Connections was there to join in on the first year festivities! The con had a lot of special rules regarding cosplay, such as allowing topless cosplays in non-public areas, and as such there were a lot more risque outfits than usual. You won't see anything too extreme here, but keep that in mind while perusing the gallery!  Bak-Anime recently returned to the Kern County Fairgrounds and A-to-J was there once again! Bakersfield's biggest anime convention features all the usual trappings such as guests, artist alley, panels, gaming, an itasha car show, and lots of amazing cosplayers! As a smaller version of the show, it hosted several gaming events and tournaments.
