 L.A. Comic Con is steadily growing every year and whie it's gone through several changes, (Starting out as "Comikaze" and moving to "Stan Lee's L.A. Comic Con" first) it proves to be one of our favorite conventions. This year it changed dates to earlier in October (11-13) and returned once again to the L.A. Convention Center. Given the size and status of the convention it's no surprise that it attracts the crowds it does and here is a small sampling of some of the awesome cosplays we saw this weekend!  Nerd Expo is a long running convention (operating for years as "Nerdbot Con") and each year sees its popularity grow. This one day even (held on September 21 this year) takes place at the Pasadena Convention Center and provides a nice laid back experience one doesn't often see at events like this. Despits its short event length, it still sees sizable crowds and some amazing cosplayers! Here is a small sample of some of the ones we saw this year! All photos by Ivan Aburto  Late last year we had the pleasure of meeting retired JAV actress Shibuya Kaho at HentaiCon and after about a year between that one and now, we ran into her again at Anime Expo! Never one to let herself get bored, Kaho had a lot to share with us this time from things we left out to new endeavors. While the HentaiCon interview [Which can be found HERE] centered more on her former work in JAV, this time one focuses more on her love for cosplays, anime, manga, and convention appearances, with a few surprises thrown in as well!
